Rik Palieri is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, and storyteller who has traveled the world, diligently collecting stories and playing music. A native of Burlington, Vermont, Palieri will lead museum visitors through a detailed history of the banjo with songs, stories, and personal experiences. His presentation will also touch on the life of his mentor, Pete Seeger, and highlight the connection of folk banjo styles and country music.
