The Cumberland River has played a vital role in Nashville’s history, much of it recounted in newspaper articles spanning over 200 years. In this presentation, Allen Forkum, editor of The Nashville Retrospect, will relate stories culled from old newspapers about life and death in a river city.

Doors open and lunch will be available at 11:30 am, the lecture will run from 12:00-12:50 and will be followed by a question and answer session.
