Craig Market is a bluegrass composer whose works have appeared on albums by Mac Wiseman, Blue Highway, Alecia Nugentm Grasstowne and more. Jennifer Strickland is a consummate bass player, vocalist and songwriter. Her credibility as a songwriter became established in the National Bluegrass scene in 2003 when fellow Missouri native Rhonda Vincent recorded a song entitled “Missouri Moon” on her Rounder Records release “One Step Ahead” and again on her live recording, “Ragin’ Live”. Rural Rhythm recording artist, Carrie Hassler featured “Going On The Next Train” on her debut album in late 2006. “I Can Go Back Anytime” was the first single released from Carrie’s sophomore project and debuted on the Bluegrass charts in October 2008, reaching number one status in May 2009, staying on the charts for eleven months. Other original cuts to her credit include performances by Missy Werner, Jon Weisberger, Andy Falco (The Infamous Stringdusters), Maro Kawabata, the Faris Family, Jessie Marie Gregory, First Impression, and others. She has taken home the SPBGMA Songwriter of the Year award in 2004. While performing with Midwest-based band First Impression, Jennifer was a winner of the SPBGMA International Bluegrass Band competition, Instrumental Band of the Year, and two Album of the Year awards. She is one of the Daughters of Bluegrass, a Leadership Bluegrass Alumni, and an active member of the International Bluegrass Music Association.
