Explore Cheese from Around the World at Omni Nashville Hotel
To kick start Omni Nashville Hotel’s new artisan cheese program, Bob’s Steak & Chop House is hosting a special wine pairing event.
Maître d’ Fromage Stacey Ray will guide guests through five courses of cheese and wine pairings from around the world. Guests will also receive a complimentary dessert when booking a dinner at Bob’s. Seating is limited and reservations are required by calling (615) 761-3584 or at email@example.com.
As the Maître d’ Fromage for Bob’s Steak & Chop House, Stacey Ray shares her in-depth knowledge and enthusiasm for artisan cheeses. She oversees the restaurant’s cheese program and personally sources, hand-selects and cuts a variety of regional and international cheeses. Guests enjoy Stacey’s presentations of cheeses paired with a variety of robust wines, craft beers and even Tennessee whiskeys. Stacey also serves as Bob’s Steak & Chop House’s Private Events Coordinator and works with groups on reserving private parties and customized menus. With her keen senses and expansive knowledge of cheese, Stacey received the American Cheese Society’s prestigious Certified Cheese Professional® Credential. Known as the cheese community’s “sommelier” exam, the ACS Certified Cheese Professional® Exam is based on the knowledge and skills required to successfully perform cheese-related tasks in jobs across the industry. Testing encompasses a broad range of topics including raw ingredients, the cheese-making process, storing and handling cheese, selecting distributors, marketing and communicating about cheese, nutrition, and regulations and sanitation. Stacey is one of only 593 in the world to pass the exam, and is one of 12 Certified Cheese Professionals® in Tennessee.
