Faculty Recital Peter Kolkay, bassoon with Karen Ann Krieger, piano, Polly Brecht, harpsichord, and Felix Wang, cello

Peter Kolkay presents a recital of standard repertoire he should have performed a long time ago, but for some reason the appropriate time never surfaced. In addition to Georg Philipp Telemann’s ubiquitous Sonata in F minor, he will present Alvin Etler’s Sonata and Heitor Villa-Lobos’ Ciranda das sete notes. Pianist Karen Ann Krieger also steps to the fore with a solo performance of Francis Poulenc’s “Presto.” 

This event is free and open to the public. Parking for this event is available for free in West Garage (2500 Children’s Way) through the Children’s Way entrance.
