Glen Campbell rose to national prominence as a country and pop singer, guitarist, songwriter, television host, and actor in the late 1960s and 1970s. During his fifty-year career, Campbell released over seventy albums, sold over forty-five million records, and won ten Grammy Awards. This documentary, directed by James Keach, documents Campbell’s “Goodbye Tour” of 2011 shortly after Campbell was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. It presents Campbell and his family as they embark on a cross-country journey, documenting their struggle with Campbell’s progressing disease but paying tribute to his enduring legacy. Also featuring commentary by Bill Clinton, Sheryl Crow, The Edge, Steve Martin, Paul McCartney, Brad Paisley, Blake Shelton, Chad Smith, Bruce Springsteen, Taylor Swift, and Keith Urban. 120 Minutes.
