Lipscomb University invites the public to a community Independence Day celebration on the Allen Arena mall on campus Friday, July 3, at the annual finale of Summer Celebration, a three-day festival of faith, fun and fellowship.
The celebration begins at 4:30pm with free inflatable games for children and food available for purchase from Chick-fil-A, Martin’s BBQ, Blue Coast Burrito and Kona Ice. The celebration continues with a community worship service featuring ministers Buddy Bell, Rick Atchley and Jeremy Swindle at 6:00pm, a live performance by Acappella and George Pendergrass at 8:30pm and a professional fireworks display at 9:30pm.
The evening is free and open to the public. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for the concert and fireworks display.
