Lamb of God, Anthrax, Deafheaven, Powertrip

Richmond, VA natives Lamb of God originally formed in 1994 as Burn The Priest while in college together at Virginia Commonwealth University, initially performing in meagre venues and hocking rough demos amongst the local scene. In 1998, the band changed their moniker to Lamb of God, which would mark their impending ascension to top-tier status, as well as one of the only tangible career deviations that the band would ever undertake – having consistently released chart-topper after chart-topper while maintaining a true and constant line-up of members and increasingly growing fanbase; a rarity in modern music. Having lived through times that would have stopped most bands in their tracks, Lamb of God are back with a renewed sense of purpose and a fresh perspective. They went on a full European Festival tour in the Summer of 2015, and then the Summer’s Last Stand Tour across North America, as direct support for Slipknot, and also featuring Bullet For My Valentine, and Motionless In White. Lamb of God are ready to roll.

Billed as Very Special Guest for this tour, the six-time Grammy-nominated Anthrax is about to release one of 2016’s most anticipated metal/thrash albums, For All Kings, due out February 26 (Megaforce). The eleven-song crusher that the band’s drummer Charlie Benante promises will be “aggressive and super-thrashy,” was written by Benante, bassist Frank Bello, and rhythm guitarist Scott Ian, the dynamic triumvirate whose unique composition chemistry is, in part, what sets Anthrax’s music apart from other bands’ in the same genre.  Add to that Joey Belladonna’s breathtaking vocals and the searing guitar leads by newest member Jonathan Donais, and it’s no wonder the band is so excited for fans to hear what will be their 11th studio album.

Deafheaven is a California-based act that has garnered acclaim for their signature hybrid sound of black metal, shoegaze, and post-rock.

Powertrip is a band of steel, speed and destruction.
