The Metropolitan Transit Authority (Nashville MTA) and Regional Transportation Authority of Middle Tennessee (RTA) will update the community on the latest developments in the year-long strategic planning process known as nMotion 2015 at two upcoming meetings on August 11 and 12, 2015.
The meetings will be run by NelsonNygaard, the lead consultant for the project, and representatives from the transit agencies. Steve Bland, CEO of MTA/RTA, will provide an overview of the project and present a draft of guiding principles, which are based on the technical work and the public input gathered so far. In addition, NelsonNygaard will present an overview and initial set of strategies to improve the Nashville area’s transit system.
At each meeting, residents will be divided into small groups and asked to weigh in on future trade-offs facing the system and give feedback on the potential strategies that could be used to improve the system.

Approximately 360 spaces will be added, and other improvements will be made to the garage. Seventy-five parking spaces are temporarily closed for the duration of construction. Project completion is expected in spring of 2018.
Due to the temporary parking space decrease and temporary lane closures, please allow extra time when planning to visit during peak hours or for special events.
