Music City Open Water Swim -Benefitting the Nashville Dolphins

For the 400 meter swim register HERE and select “Sprint Open Water Swim” – $30

For the 1.5K swim register HERE and select “Intermediate Open Water Swim” – $45

The swim will be in the Cumberland River, starting and finishing from the west bank dock .  The Nashville Dolphins, will be holding two open water swims on Sunday. The average water temperature in this area of the Cumberland River on this day is 81 °F.

Swim Start Information: This will be a time trial start swim by assigned race numbers.  Race numbers are assigned by estimated swim time, with the fastest swim time being number 1.  A racer will enter the water approximately every 3 seconds.  The first race (400M) will start at 7:30am. Course buoys will be identified to all racers, and kayak support on the water will also assist racers to stay on course. Swim caps will be provided at packet pick up and must be worn for safety / visibility. You will be given a swim cap at registration with your participant # on it. Package Registration and Late Registration: Saturday, July 25—1:00pm-5:00pm

This event is sanctioned by USA Triathlon. This requires each participant to purchase either a one-day license or annual membership in order to participate in said event. A one-day USAT license is $12 and an annual USAT membership is $45. Either can be purchased when signing up for the event
