Raise the Roofs

Join Friends of Franklin Parks on Saturday, Aug. 15, for the fourth annual Raise the Roofs fundraiser for the Park at Harlinsdale Farm. The event will be held from 5-8 p.m. outdoors, so please dress comfortably!

As part of Raise the Roofs, you also will enjoy frood from area restaurants, tours of the Historic Barn and Hayes Home, plus entertainment.

Construction of the Friends of Franklin Parks’ multi-purpose equestrian arena on a five-acre tract at Harlinsdale is well under way, with completion expected in late September. This event, plus the generosity of attendees, will help push funding for the facility over the finish line.

Starting at 5 p.m. on Aug. 15, the program may include a polo match, a showcase of various breeds of local horses, tours of the recently stabilized 1940s main barn, memorabilia exhibits and more, along with great food and drink from area restaurants.
