NPT, Operation Stand Down Tennessee and Scarritt Bennett Center host a free screening of MAKERS: Women in War, a documentary about women’s military participation from the 1960s to the present day. Following the screening, there will be a discussion and Q&A with local female veterans moderated by Mary Ross (US. Army, Ret.), deputy executive director of Operation Stand Down Tennessee.
The panelists are: Tammie Otukwu (U.S. Army Reserve, 26 years); Marjorie Eastman (U.S. Army/Iraq and Afghanistan); Jackie Pair (U.S. Army, Retired SGM); and Julie Longard (U.S. Army/Iraq).
Tours of the VA’s Mobile Vet Center will be available.
