Second Saturday - September
Don’t miss out on the Second Saturday show offerings before the laser shows continue!
6:00pm – Dome Club Nashville presents Fractals Fractals are fascinating patterns that appeal to everyone – scientists, artists, children and more. Even if you’ve never heard of the word “Fractal”, you already know lots about fractals, since you’re surrounded by them in the natural world. Shapes such as trees, rivers, mountains and clouds are all examples of fractals, and we’ll explore some of these during this show.
7:00pm – Skies Over Nashville Take a tour of the night skies over Nashville and see what you can find in your own backyard! The audience is encouraged to ask questions – such as “what does a black hole look like” – during this interactive presentation.
8:30pm – Laser Beatles Take the whole family on a magical mystery tour with John, Paul, George, and Ringo in the Sudekum Planetarium where the iconic music of The Beatles is accompanied by brilliant lasers, digital effects, and millions of stars. Get ready to twist and shout until you cause a revolution.
9:30pm – Laser Queen We Will Rock You with a Bohemian Rhapsody in a Cosmic Concert featuring the awesome sounds of Queen choreographed to lasers, special effects, and millions of stars. Guest appearances include my Best Friend, Princes of the Universe, and Flash Gordon.
10:30pm – Laser Dark Don’t be afraid of the dark. This alternative music experience features Smashing Pumpkins, Alice in Chains, Rage Against the Machine, Garbage, Rammstein, and White Zombie. But the dark wave won’t really be dark; as brilliant lasers, millions of stars, and fulldome digital imagery carry you back to the industrial 90s.
