Please join us as we welcome saxophonist Chris West and his band to the next Snap on 2&4 concert.
Based in Nashville, Chris West has been composing/arranging for the past 18 years. An accomplished saxophonist/flutist/woodwindist, West has been working as a freelance musician for 20 years in Nashville TN. West holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commercial Music Performance/Composition, and a Master’s degree in Jazz Studies. In 1998, his song “Dreams” was nominated for a Nashville Music Award (NAMMY), and in 2012 he had two songs in the finals of the International Songwriting Competition. His first solo album entitled “Jazzmanic” was released in 2006 and features 9 original compositions.
The band Chris is bringing includes four of the top musicians in Nashville, with trombonist Roy Agee joining the leader in the front line, and a rhythm section of Joe Davidian on piano, Jerry Navarro on bass, and Marcus Finnie on drums.
