Songs of Hope for a Better World

Though much of the news we hear these days from around the world and here at home is bad news, we Unitarian Universalists know that it is important to keep on trying to make things a little better each day, in our communities and on our planet. Folksinger Ken Sizemore will perform songs that embody hopefulness and optimism, and give us some tangible sounds and lyrics to encourage us to keep on fighting the good fight.

Ken Sizemore, who lived here in Nashville for about 30 years before moving with his wife, Susie, to Panama City, Florida in 1999, has been a Unitarian Universalist for almost 40 year. A performer of folk music for more than 50 years, and a musical partner of deceased GNUUC member Judith Lovin for two decades, Ken draws much of his material from the classic folk music of the 50s, 60s, and 70s. He travels and performs in many venues all over the southeast, and while he loves playing music in any setting, Ken’s favorite “gig” is playing for Unitarian Universalists.
