Summer Celebration lecture with Dr. Kent Brantly
Lipscomb University’s Summer Celebration annual lecture series will host Dr. Kent Brantly, Time magazine’s 2014 Person of the Year, medical director of the Liberian Ebola treatment unit and later the first person to be treated for Ebola on American soil. Brantly and his wife Amber will be interviewed about their life experiences on Thursday, July 2, at 2:00pm in the Collins Alumni Auditorium, and will speak on the Book of Revelation and its relation to his experiences with famine and plague as a medical missionary in Liberia with Samaritan’s Purse on Thursday, July 2, at 6:30pm in Allen Arena, both on the Lipscomb campus. Brantly’s talks are part of a Summer Celebration, a three-day festival of faith, fellowship and Bible study held July 1-3.
