Creative roots music mavericks Ted Drozdowski’s Scissormen celebrate the release of their new Love & Life album with a live-wire show at The Basement. The show is also a benefit for the family of historic soul artist Mighty Sam McClain, who sings on the Love & Life track “Let’s Go To Memphis,” currently in rotation of Sirius/XM radio and other stations around the country. Sam, who lived in Nashville during the 1970s, passed away just before the album was released and proceedings from tonight show will help his family with medical costs. Ted is a slide gutar vituoso and songwriter, and the band has been touring internationally including stops at Bonnaroo and France’s Cognac Blues Passions. The versatile repertoire effortlessly spans the Americana, blues, rock and country genres, with a timeless psychdelic edge.
