Third Annual Old Hickory Fun Run

The Third Annual Old Hickory Fun Run, Tennessee’s largest powerboating event will be held July 31 – August 1. Benefiting the Wounded Warrior Project, the event will launch with a high performance boat and vehicle display and Street Party, to be held in downtown Nashville on Friday, July 31 (lower Broadway between 1st & 2nd Avenue) beginning at 7:00pm. The public is invited to view a collection of participating powerboats and world-class automobiles from Music City Motor Cars, make charitable donations, receive retail discounts and coupons from various supporting vendors and meet powerboaters.

On Saturday, August 1 at 11:00am, nearly 100 powerboats will set out on Old Hickory Lake from Sam’s Cove at Blue Turtle Bay Marina (formerly known as Blackjack Marina) to compete for prizes, including a chance to win $50,000, courtesy of Wozencraft Insurance Company.

The event will conclude with a party back at the marina on Saturday night, beginning at 6:00pm.  The public is invited to attend and will also have a chance to win door prizes, including a brand new Ford F-150, courtesy of Two Rivers Ford.
