TN Craft Week Artist Forum presented by Shimai Gallery

Celebrate Tennessee Craft Week with three local craft artists from Shimai, Gallery of Contemporary Craft. Each artist will speak about their process, vision, and how they chose a life of “making”. Brenda Stein is known for her graceful turned wood pieces and the public art installation Rise Above. Sydney Reichman produces unique paintings on copper that combine the energetic power of hammer and hand, welders’ torch and vibrant color. Elizabeth Sanford is a watercolor painter who was seduced by book arts and now creates watercolor sculptures, telling visual fairy tales.
